Inspired by her Granny Jean’s joyful experience of retirement – and a decade working in tech startups – Founder and CEO Hannah Thomson, created The Joy Club, an online activity club that provides inspiration for a joyful retirement. Members can try something new at live online events every weekday and find inspiration with uplifting member-only articles and videos, so whether you’d like to try your hand at crafting, practice Tai Chi or join an expert talk – or perhaps you’d prefer to grab a cuppa and settle in to read the latest member interview – there’s something to bring you joy at The Joy Club.

Creating a community for your next chapter
For our customers, it’s been the little things that create the community. It’s a catch up with neighbours at coffee mornings. It’s getting the ukulele band, gardening group and film club back together again. It’s watching Strictly Come Dancing or Wimbledon in the communal lounge with neighbours and friends.
