Welcome to Wildernesse House
An Exciting New Chapter
Surrounded by acres of rolling Kent countryside, the Wildernesse estate has borne witness to great moments and characters in English history. Preserving this rich heritage, Purcell Architects have repaired fittings, uncovered original features and protected external stonework to restore the house and its grounds to their former glory.
Wildernesse House is an extraordinary collection of 19 one and two-bedroom apartments on the upper floors of the main house, 4 one- and two-bedroom ‘legacy’ apartments on the ground floor, and 8 two-bedroom mews houses in the newly built stable block. With dedicated service and a variety of spaces for dining with friends or indulging in a spa treatment, Wildernesse House Sevenoaks offers a unique opportunity to be part of the next chapter in the ongoing story of this remarkable estate.
Prices for the Wildernesse House apartments start from £649,950.00 (Mews Houses), and £925,000 (the Main House)
What's on Offer
Wildernesse House is designed to bring people together to enjoy all the estate has to offer. The service is in keeping with that of a traditional country estate, and the General Management team is on hand to assist with any requests you may have, whether that's booking a taxi or organising a summer croquet tournament on the lawn.
The Main Hall
With tall ceilings and a grand central staircase, the main hall has a lounge area with clusters of armchairs and sofas. Here you can grab a gin and tonic from the honesty bar or pick a book out from the library's restored bookshelves and settle down for the evening.
Spreading across the lower ground floor of the main house, the spa has a number of areas for working out or unwinding. Head to the gym and stretch studio for a personal workout or a group exercise class, before relaxing in the sauna, steam room or lap pool. A choice of massages, manicures and pedicures are also available in the treatment rooms.
Across the sloping lawn from the main house, the restaurant is a new structure with a welcoming entrance lobby and a café, which offers delicious food, snacks and barista-served coffee throughout the day. Fitted with large oak tables, the main restaurant serves seasonal dishes with ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
The two tastefully decorated guest suites are located on the second floor of the main house. Guests are welcome to make use of the spa, the restaurant and all that's on offer at Wildernesse House. Bookings for the guest suite are made through the General Manager.

From the stretches of wildflower meadows to the ornate rose garden by the arrival court, the grounds at Wildernesse House are rich and varied. The kitchen garden comprises a series of raised herb and vegetable beds, while the orchard comes into its own in the autumn, producing a variety of fruits for jams and conserves. Long summer evenings are best spent relaxing by the sundial folly. With a traditional sundial and comfortable seating, this sunny spot has unrivalled views of the main house and looks out across the surrounding grounds.
