Specialist age exclusive property developer, PegasusLife Group, has announced the appointment of Mark Dickinson as Chief Executive Officer.
Mark Dickinson replaces Antonin de Margerie who will stay involved in the Group both at Board and operational levels. Mark joins PegasusLife Group from Anthology, a London residential property developer that he founded in 2013. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, but Mark also has a demonstrable understanding of PegasusLife Group’s vision and underlying opportunity going forward.
During the last 5 years, Mark has brought his experience of large scale property development in London, and other cities across the UK and Australia. Having put a succession plan in place, he has now moved to become Chairman of Anthology, and he is proud of the team he leaves in place to continue Anthology’s work.
Mark’s formative professional experiences were gained within Berkeley Homes, Stockland (Australian REIT) and Lend Lease. Notably, he led the team who built the Athletes Village for London 2012.
Jim Van Steenkiste, Oaktree Capital Managing Director said:
“This strengthening of the PegasusLife Group Executive Board supports the continued development of the company. Despite the property market’s headwind, performance has been very solid in the first half of our financial year and has outperformed expected growth targets. Moreover, the quality of our asset base has continued to strengthen with the recent completion of key sites and the continued acquisition of land.
“With Mark at the helm, a solid balance sheet and the quality of our teams and products, I am confident the business will continue to strengthen and capture market opportunities. PegasusLife Group is well-placed to offer the very best in senior housing.”
Mark Dickinson, PegasusLife Group CEO added:
“Having followed the sector and PegasusLife Group for a while, and more intensely as a Board Member for the past 6 months, I am very proud and excited to become part of the journey. It is with pride and excitement that we continue to drive the business towards further fueling our ambition not only to grow the business but to transform the way people over 60 live. I am very keen to support the Group in achieving its goals in terms of growth, innovation and societal impact.”
