The Role

The Salesforce team play a vital role in the success of our Sales and Marketing teams, taking full accountability, responsibility, and ownership for the SFDC product vision, roadmap, development and user experience, to ensure we can reach our customers and carefully support the sales process.

What We Are Looking For

A strong leader comfortable in a hands-on management role whilst taking full accountability, responsibility, and ownership for the SFDC product vision, roadmap, development, user experience, and success. You will lead a team and processes designed to work collaboratively with all members of the Sales, Marketing, & Customer Experience function, to elicit the requirements from every stakeholder, distilling them into clear and concise deliverable user stories, and agree and complete sign off for development/enhancements, whilst understanding and collating the wider impact that changes may have to business processes and other functions across the business. 

You must convey to all members of the team and collaborating functions, a clear programme of weekly work, planned work, whilst ensuring the longer term roadmap is continually reviewed.

Your team will be responsible for all areas of the SFDC function, your accountability also includes onboarding, continuous training, first/second/third line support, user experience continual improvement, and ad hoc requests and reporting from across the business. You will be expected to manage all 3rd party consultants and agreements, and ensure they are aligned with the functions programme and PegasusLife procedures and policies

With responsibility for the overall coordination and management of the SFDC team, you will set and drive achievement of performance targets, ensuring the consistent high quality delivery of services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on the Salesforce.com platform, Salesforce Lightning Experience, experience with SOQL/SQL and Apex coding - and the ability to manage external developers with the skill set, experience in driving and delivering change.

You will have strong all-round technology skills/experience across wide range of SaaS/PaaS platforms. Advanced skills in spreadsheet functions are key to success in this role. The ability to think analytically, problem solve as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital.

Location, Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive basic salary, bonus and car allowance, alongside an excellent benefits package including enhanced annual leave, life assurance, private medical insurance, Healthshield, and a contributory pension. 

The role will be based at Winchester, although there may be an occasional requirement for travel to our other offices and sites. There will be a need for some work to be undertaken outside normal working hours and we appreciate your flexibility around this.
