The Role

This is no ordinary Company or role. This is a fast-moving, category changing organisation that requires a Head of Marketing with a passion to make a difference and the ability to nurture and lead a marketing and communications team effectively. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the marketing team within your region to deliver on all marketing and communications activity across all projects including all aspects of project marketing, strategic approach, brand management, social media, website creation and management, managing agencies, cost control and providing strong and effective internal and external communications. 

You will also support the Group Marketing Director in the delivery of a fully integrated brand, marketing and communications strategy for the whole business to create a stronger and more positive awareness in the market and grow brand equity. 

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued growth and success of Lifestory, sharing our ethos, values and providing role model leadership.


The Person

You will be an experienced marketer, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar marketing role in the residential property industry, overseeing all elements of the marketing mix along with internal and external communications (including social engagement) and brand awareness in a fast-paced and competitive environment.  with previous exposure to the new homes/property development market, with a track record of successfully launching and driving brand marketing campaigns that have built momentum, driven quality leads, leading to appointments and reservations. 

The successful candidate will be degree educated (or equivalent) and preferably hold a CIM qualification. A keen eye for detail and organisational skills are key, while being a creative thinker who is able to present new opportunities.

Also, to ensure success you will: 

  • Contribute to change/innovation by generating ideas and positively questioning assumptions 
  • Be able to initiate new and better ways of doing things, overcomes barriers to create real and positive change
  • Have high-quality Marketing and Communications skills 
  • Have good IT skills and an interest in developing technology/systems and data to assist the business (ie salesforce and pardot) 
  • Manage and empower a team to maximise their power and effectiveness 
  • Create new solutions and instigate timely reviews of progress to deliver objectives 

A full UK Driving License is required.

Location, Salary & Benefits

This role comes with a competitive basic salary, and bonus, alongside a benefits package including Private Medical Insurance, enhanced annual leave, life assurance, Healthshield, and a contributory pension. 

It will be based from our London Office with frequent travel to our other offices and developments in our London and South East Region.
