Helicon is the part of the PegasusLife Group providing property management. It is our job to take care of the developments and make sure that our owners enjoy living in it.

We are looking to recruit a General Manager to run our prestigious development Hampstead Green Place that will provide the top quality service our ambitions require, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

The General Manager is a vital role in the successful running of our developments, each of which have been carefully designed and built to offer the highest levels of comfort, leisure and service to our owners.

As General Manager, you will oversee the day to day operational running of the development and its facilities. This includes wellness facilities such as a pool and spa, as well as a leading restaurant that is open to the public.

In addition to this, you will build lasting relationships with the residents at our development, offering a considered, thoughtful and professional approach to making their experience of living at Hampstead Green Place an exceptional one.

We believe it’s the little things:

Like having Julia’s morning coffee ready and waiting for her at 9. No sugar and a drop of hot milk. Just the way she likes it.

Or making sure the day’s papers are out on the coffee table. The FT for Geoff. The Telegraph for Susan. The Mail (open to the sports section) for Tom.

It’s checking the guest suite availability. Claudia mentioned that her grandson is visiting next week. Ooh, they might like to try the new Italian in town.

It’s updating the noticeboard on the way out. Cheese and wine tasting next Thursday. Film night is now on Saturday (too many people out on Fridays). Group walk on Monday afternoon – weather permitting, of course.

The General Manager role is unique and offers an exceptional opportunity, in a leading retirement living development. 

What We Are Looking For

We need someone who understands the importance of the little things in customer care, and who can confidently lead and inspire a team to deliver an exceptional, quality-driven service to the residents of our new development in Hampstead.

The successful candidate will have previously held a management position in the hospitality and leisure industry. Demonstrable experience of being able to coordinate services, maintenance and facilities is vital, including close partnerships with outsourced services. Previous experience overseeing wellness facilities such as pools and spas is desirable, but not essential. 

On top of these skills, the ideal candidate will possess a calm and collected approach, putting the customer at the heart of everything they do. You will be a natural people person, who enjoys going the extra mile to deliver a service that people remember.
