The Role

This role will be part of the PegasusLife Group Development Team overseeing and coordinating the effective delivery of a portfolio of PegasusLife and Renaissance Retirement brand developments. Working in partnership with our contractors, from buying the land to selling all the units within a development and handing over to our Property and Estates Management team.

You will manage the development cycle by utilising the intelligent client approach to development management and ensuring accountability for achieving ROI through effective leadership and management of all stakeholders involved in the Development process including external consultants, suppliers and colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

You’ll be experienced in working closely with contractors and suppliers in the delivery of residential property, from input into the pre-construction and feasibility stages through delivery to practical completion and beyond.

The successful Development Manager will be an excellent relationship builder, able to work with a broad range of teams and stakeholders. You’ll have experience in best practice tendering and procurement of suppliers, ensuring that the contracts are managed and paid on time. A key part of the role will be ensuring that the exceptionally high standards of the company are always met by our supply chain, working closely with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and resolve any potentials issues.

Location, Salary, Benefits

This role comes with a competitive basic salary plus car allowance and bonus, alongside a benefits package including enhanced annual leave, life assurance, private medical insurance, Healthshield, and a contributory pension.

There will be frequent travel to a portfolio of our developments, with one role focused mainly across the South East counties and another on the South West, as well as regular visits to the company head office in Winchester.
