Haywards Heath

Renaissance Retirement

Who We Are

Renaissance Retirement was founded over 20 years ago with the aim of designing, building and managing luxury retirement developments that were simply better than the standard developments being built across the country at the time. That ethos still resonates today. At Renaissance Retirement it is still, and always will be, the personal touch that sets us apart. Thanks to their common aims, Renaissance Retirement became part of the PegasusLife Group in 2017.

The Role

We're on the lookout for a Concierge to join our development in Haywards Heath, who will provide a fantastic experience to our customers and to meet the day to day operational needs. The successful candidate will have empathy and understanding of elderly people and will ensure a safe, secure, well maintained and pleasant environment. The Concierge will help residents to run small on-site events through to taking owners to local venues to support the vision of high-quality retirement living we strive to achieve.

The successful candidate would actively encourage a happy, healthy and fulfilling lifestyle for our owners. You'll be dealing with daily resident enquiries, carefully responding where you can and escalating more complex queries to the Property Management Team. The Concierge will also be responsible for coordinating maintenance at the development, ensuring the property is clean and safe for our owners. There will be key Health and Safety requirements and reporting, such as testing of the fire alarms.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have experience in a customer focused role and be passionate about going the extra mile. Previous experience of managing facilities and maintenance is highly advantageous, as is experience of working with elderly people.

You will have excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude, able to work independently with the support of a remote team. A full UK drivers license and car will be required for this role.

Location, Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive basic salary, pension and additional benefits. The role will be based in our development in Haywards Heath, although there may be an occasional requirement for travel to our other offices and sites as well.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, working Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. There will need to be flexibility to work other days and times on occasion.
