The Role

As a Concierge you will be the hub of the development, providing a positive and service led approach to developing the community. Being the face of Helicon, you’ll help everyone settle into their new homes and facilitate the lifestyle they are aiming for. You are the first person that everyone turns to for everything; from facilitating contractors to organising social events.

You will be a fountain of all knowledge of all things local and will build strong and trustworthy relationships with local contractors and suppliers to ensure the building is maintained to the highest of standards, ensuring any faults or defects are reported. You will help to oversee a small budget, taking care of expenditure and ensuring great value for money.

You’ll live our values and service ethos from move in day and beyond, coordinating and initiating new ways of delivering a great living experience through building relationships with the owners and finding out what makes them tick.

The Person

We are looking for an intuitive people person who’s empathetic approach, warmth, and insight enables them to build relationships with all of our owners  in the development. You’ll be used to talking to people and using your instinct to go the extra mile. You will have plenty of energy and positivity to manage our service partners as well as a simple budget.

Your approach means that you strive to exceed expectations, always putting the customer first, taking a long term view and treating everyone with respect.  Exceeding the expectations of our owners will be your focus, with the support of the wider team. Motivation is important and you’ll be able to work on your own initiative, but also contribute to the Lifestory Group.

You will have worked in a customer facing role, having developed high level communication skills. You’ll have a calm approach to high pressure situations, using your initiative to find solutions.

We are looking for a Full-Time Concierge to join the team at our Romsey development on an initial 6 month Fixed-Term basis. A usual working week is 35 hours.

Please note this position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.


Location, Salary & Benefits

This role comes with a competitive basic salary.

It will be based at our Romsey Development, although there may be occasional travel to our other offices and developments.
