 The Role

By managing the day to day financial operations and the strategic financial decision making, the Finance Team contributes to achieving our ambition of becoming the most admired provider of housing for older people, particularly by ensuring that we are seen as value driven and built to last.

The role is to support PegasusLife through the accurate and timely preparation of financial/management information.  This will encompass contact with external advisors (such as auditors), providing support to the accounts team and implementation of a business services culture.

 What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced Accountant to join our small established team of professionals based in our Cheltenham office. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive and accurate, comfortable with working with stakeholders in a range of departments in multiple locations. The successful candidate will be ACCA or CIMA qualified with experience of supporting month/year end reporting and timetables. A high degree of numeracy and advanced experience of Excel/spreadsheets is a must, while previous exposure to the property development sector would be highly desirable. A working knowledge of COINS system is useful however full training will be given.

 Location, Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive basic salary and bonus, alongside a benefits package including 25 days holiday, life assurance, Healthshield, and a contributory pension. 

It will be based at our office in Cheltenham, although there may be an occasional requirement for travel to our other offices and sites.
