Programme Manager

Due to the continuing success of PegasusLife, we are now looking to recruit a Customer Care Manager to join our Development Team who will oversee the final stages of delivery of a development project to ensure that it is finished to the highest possible of standards.

The Role:

The Programme Manager will seen as the ‘key time management expert’ and act as the focal point for all Development Programme matters, producing robust and detailed time plans for all works associated with the pre-construction and construction phases of our projects and a produce a contingency plan for the time risks depending on the ‘what if’s’.

You will work the Development Team to evaluate each project across the whole of PegasusLife portfolio in terms of time, costs and process to identify potential risk and setbacks to deliver on time and to budget. You will be in charge of managing the programme’s budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses.

The role will involve communicating effectively both internally and externally, and be able to produce detailed trackers, so that you can report progress and communicate effectively to stakeholders. You will be expected to develop, manage and update consolidated development programme covering all the developments in the PegasusLife portfolio through the development lifecycle, and prepare monthly consolidated reports, analysis and forecast for Group Development Director and Chief Development Officer on all aspects of time performance and risk.

With the support of the Project Coordinator, perform time risk analysis against programme at regular intervals within the development lifecycle, and manage the risk for the programme’s successful outcome. You will take responsibility for all developments ensuring that progress and productivity is effectively monitored against project plan and that clear and appropriate reports are produced and distributed in a concise and timely manner.

What We Are Looking For:

Our developments are exceptional, and the Programme Manager will need to be too. You will need to be committed to our values and vision, you will therefore have demonstrable experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering.

It will be crucial for you to have Construction Programming Experience and be able to deliver results under pressure, as we grow from 35 to circa 80 projects. You will need to have effective interpersonal and communication skills, with high attention to detail. PegasusLife are achievers, and we are focussed on adding value and looking for a Programme Manager who will understand the role we play in the success of the business.

We are looking for someone who is honest and professional in our approach, professional and genuine; that is approachable and sensitive, and truly welcome and act upon constructive feedback.

You will be highly IT literate as PegasusLife operates purely in a cloud based environment and uses Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Presentations & Drive etc), experience of these systems would be desirable but an aptitude and willingness to adapt to new technology is essential.

We are also looking for someone with excellent technical writing skills in use of a wide range of project planning tools and software. You will need to have good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, and have experience of using a variety of processes and methods through design, regulatory approvals, procurement and construction including non-traditional forms of construction. You will also need to have good knowledge of programme and project management methods, e.g. PRINCE2.

Marketing Co-ordinator

We are now embarking on a new chapter which has included an influx of talent from within and outside of the traditional sector, and a complete re-definition & re-positioning of the product. This new vision is captured via the recent re-brand to PegasusLife and is soon to be evidenced through the many developments we will be building in the coming years. We are now looking to recruit a dynamic and talented Marketing Coordinator to join our in-house sales and marketing team.

The Role:

A key output of this role is the continuous stream of high quality leads. This will be achieved by:

Contributing to and assisting in the implementation of marketing plans and events for each of our developments.

Monitoring expenditure on marketing activity on a monthly basis and ensuring it remains within the agreed budget.

Proactively assisting the Sales Managers with on-site events including champagne launches and sparkling openings etc.

Evaluating the success of events measured by increase in quantity of enquires.

Supporting production of the floor plans and other supporting material for onsite Sales.

Leading on securing appropriate signage for all developments.

Proof reading and arranging the effective and timely distribution of marketing material to each site and ensuring sites have sufficient stock.

Supporting marketing activities related to off plan selling and pre marketing.

Planning, briefing and agreeing all composite and local advertising and promotions in conjunction with the overall marketing plans. Communicate all activity to the on-site Sales Manager as well as our Winchester marketing department.

Overseeing the briefing to update all parties on development progress/price changes/promotional activities.

Assisting in the development of internet and social media marketing and ensuring it is effectively implemented, including ensuring the Company’s website is kept up to date working with external supplier.

Continually monitoring the customer profile to ensure that all activity undertaken meets any specific target requirements and expectations of the purchaser in each location.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and motivated team player to work within our busy Sales & Marketing team. To be successful in the role you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. As this is at times a customer facing role you will be a polished professional, representing PegasusLife at events. You will need to be hands on, practical and motivated to implement new marketing tools. Creative and innovative in your approach you will have an ability to work under pressure, manage tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. The role requires a flexible approach, a confident ‘can do’ nature with a meticulous eye for detail.

We expect you to be educated to degree level and ideally, a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing or working towards the accreditation. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, external partners and the media. You will need to be a strong team player but also happy to work autonomously.

Senior Land Manager

Who We Are:

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Land Director, these new roles will be key to the ongoing success of the Land Team who are tasked with achieving our ambitious growth plans.

The Senior Land Managers will be responsible for acquiring development land that will enable us to build unique, relevant and inspiring apartments. For us it is a journey like no other, from the day we first discover a site, to moving in day, and beyond.

Working with a network of established contacts, our Senior Land Managers will identify and evaluate sites to ensure they meet our specific requirements. The role involves responsibility for due diligence and preparing a proposal for submission to the Board including coordinating input from Planning, Development, Finance, Design and Sales & Marketing Teams. A key aspect of the role involves instructing and managing solicitors as well as ensuring relevant legislation and regulations are met.

The role involves working to budgets and adopting a commercial approach as well as having a clear understanding and appreciation of the importance that design and the ultimate customer experience play in the overall process.

Using strong negotiating skills you will secure favourable outcomes and build solid relationships. As part of the PegasusLife Team you will work collaboratively to achieve results. Making presentations, summarising key data and communicating effectively at all levels is crucial.

What We Are Looking For:

To be considered for this role you will have a track record as a Senior Land Manager and a network of contacts in the geographical area. You will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent, or a professional qualification such as RICS or RTPI.

Whilst a planning qualification is not essential, an excellent understanding and experience of the planning process is important.

Previous experience of negotiating land acquisitions up to the value of several £m and a proven track record of achieving land acquisition targets is required.

You should be highly numerate and used to managing budgets. A high level of IT skills combined with a zest for learning new things is important.

With highly developed planning and organisational skills, you will have the ability to manage high workloads, work under pressure and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.

Excellent networking and negotiation skills combined with a good business understanding and strategic thinking skills are a must. Making sound decisions must come naturally to you, as will the ability to influence and persuade others.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work alone by taking responsibility for your own work, but will also enjoy collaborating to solve problems and make decisions.

Communicating in an open, honest and simple way, you will keep people regularly informed of progress. The Role:

As the host at Malt Yard in Woodbridge, you will be the hub of the development, providing a positive and service led approach to developing the community. Being the face of PegasusLife’s estate management company you’ll help everyone settle into their new homes and facilitate the lifestyle they are aiming for. You are the person who brings magic to owning one of our apartments, seizing the opportunities to delight our owners with a service beyond their imagination. You are the first person that everyone turns to for everything; organising social events such as monthly bake off high tea and sun downer drinks events on the roof terrace to providing insights about the local area to changing a light bulb!

You will be the fountain of all knowledge of all things local and will build strong and trustworthy relationships with with local contractors and suppliers to ensure the building is maintained to the highest of standards. To live our not for profit approach you will be manage the onsite accounts, taking care of expenditure and ensuring great value for money.

We are looking for an intuitive people person who’s empathetic approach, warmth, and insight enables them to build relationships with all of our owners in the development. You’ll be used to talking to people and using your instinct to go the extra mile. You will have plenty of energy and positivity to manage our service partners as well as budgets.

Your approach means that you strive to exceed expectations, always putting the customer first, taking a long term view and treating everyone with respect. Delighting our owners will be your focus, but you are also respectful when dealing with our partners and your colleagues. Roving Sales Manager

The Role:

This role is there to support the Sales and Marketing Team by assisting in development launches, selling off plan as well as from the sales complex, achieving all sales targets and managing the developments.

You will support the Sales Manager’s help in differing presentation suites, offering support and advice where needed. You will help in creating a sense of delight for our customers as they discover the lifestyle that we can offer them through purchasing an apartment at one of our developments and then proactively following this through from reservation to completion.
You will have experience of property sales; this may have been gained by working for the new homes division of an estate agency, or directly for a developer. Experience of selling off plan, of plot progressing and being accountable for performance and achievement of targets is essential.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone with the energy and enthusiasm to to able to help the Sales Manager convert the leads generated. Our customers are buying into a lifestyle, not just purchasing bricks and mortar, so you’ll be used to talking to people to understand their needs, pointing them in the direction of how our developments can exceed their expectations and positively influence their decisions.

We are look for something with highly developed negotiation and influencing skills. You will need excellent organisation skills, and be able to manage your own time with the ability to support other Sales Managers. You will need to be able to problem solve, work to deadline and work under pressure, with passion and drive.

To support our rapid growth plans, we are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to further strengthen our expanding team.

The Role:

The Finance Team manage the day to day financial function, strategic financial decision making, and company reporting and monitoring, contributing to company’s ambition of becoming the most admired provider of housing for older people, particularly by ensuring that we are seen as value driven and built to last.

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, the Financial Controller will be an experienced ACA/CIMA qualified Accountant with a previous track record of supporting a business by providing accurate and timely financial/management information to the wider team.

A key part of the role will be preparing financial statements for the group, liaising with our auditors and ensuring compliance with statutory and IFRS requirements to PLC standard, as well as being responsible for tax compliance including VAT and CIS

The financial controller will also have a close involvement in developing and managing a growing company structure, developing and improving current operational and IT systems.

Previous experience of the construction or house-building industry would be desirable, although all relevant experience will be considered.

The role requires a lot of detailed work, concentration, and requirement for being able to work dynamically, as well as considerable use of spreadsheets and general system skills.

We approach each project individually, thinking about the culture of the surrounding town or city, the tastes and lifestyles of the people who’ll be living at the development, and the type of spaces and style of service they’ll require. Over the past three years, we have been developing a range of sites across the UK.

The Role:

We are about to open our first PegasusLife showroom in Bristol, where we want to bring to life the style of service and experience for future owners as they consider purchasing a PegasusLife property. This is an innovative, interactive experience on the high street to help customers really get the feel of the PegasusLife spirit, as well as a deep understanding of the different developments.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who will be an Ambassador for PegasusLife and who has a flare for incredible service, interior design, food, wellbeing and lifestyle.

You will probably be working in hospitality, where hosting and talking to people will be second nature to you. Setting the vibe for our guests, guiding them through the product and bringing the vision of our developments to life is fundamental to this role. You will epitomise the brand ethos in your own way of life, clearly demonstrating your core values of well being, enjoyment, hosting and friendship.

High in emotional intelligence, you will be excellent at communicating and feel completely at ease with different customer types, being able to quickly download their wants and needs to support our sales manager and our future owners with confidence in the PegasusLife brand.

We are looking for a passionate individual to join the PegasusLife team to work 40 hours a week, over 7 days at £13 per hour (£27,040 net salary).

The Role:

Reporting into the Group Development Director, the Customer Care Manager is essential to our growing business, as they will take ownership of ensuring that our developments are completed to the highest quality, meeting all of the programme deliverables, and more importantly, exceeding the expectations of our customers and stakeholders.

You will be heavily involved in the close out phases of our developments, using your meticulous attention to detail to record and snag the works ahead of practical completion and will be instrumental in ensuring our construction partners deliver on these in readiness to handover to the sales and marketing team. You will report daily with the Development Directors to keep them informed of progress, as well as presenting a consolidated report fortnightly to the senior team.

Our projects are UK wide and you will be required to visit them regularly and attend site progress meetings to ensure the closeout key deliverables are being considered and implemented at the right time.

In addition, you will act as a centralised point of contact for our customers post move in, to manage the two year defects period with our contractors ensuring issues are swiftly resolved. The Customer Care Manager will be the crucial link between PegasusLife and our Construction partners, ensuring they uphold and work within PegasusLife’s policies and ethos.

What We Are Looking For:

Our developments are exceptional, and our Customer Care Manager will be too. Critically you will often be required to act as the face of PegasusLife with our customers so you will be committed to our values and vision, you will therefore have demonstrable experience in a similar role with a proven track record of quality delivery.

We are looking for a self starter with strong written and verbal communication and report writing skills who will thrive in our innovative environment. You will work effectively alongside a wide range of people and will be highly organised, and have excellent prioritising and time management skills. The role requires a /exible approach and a confident ‘can do’ nature with a calm and con∕dent manner. Naturally, you will have a fantastic eye for detail, so that no /aws, however minor, escape your attention.

You will be highly IT literate as PegasusLife operates purely in a cloud based environment and uses Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Presentations & Drive etc), experience of these systems would be desirable but an aptitude and willingness to adapt to new technology is essential. The Role:

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Sales & Marketing Team Administrator is an exciting new role for a true team player and ideally suited to someone who has previous experience in sales, hospitality or a customer service role that is looking for something a bit different!

The primary aim of this role is to support our Customer Enquiry Administrator by taking calls from potential buyers, asking relevant questions and capturing accurate information to enter into our customer database; this database is then maintained and managed in order to call back the prospective buyers at an agreed later date to catch up on their decision to purchase a PegasusLife property. When a potential buyer is ready to progress their enquiry further, you will be responsible for arranging for one of our field based Sales Managers to book an appointment to meet with them to discuss next steps. The Sales & Marketing Team Administrator will often be the first point of contact for potential buyers, and therefore will be ‘the voice’ of PegasusLife, so providing exceptional service from the outset is vital.

The Sales & Marketing Team Administrator will also provide support to the wider team by assisting with the production of floor plans and marketing collateral that is required for each of our sites, as well supporting with other marketing related activities such as sales launch events and sparkling weekend openings of our developments. In busy periods, there will also be a need to assist the Sales Coordinator to ensure our customers receive a first class service throughout the sales process, helping with the progression of all property sales from exchange of contracts through to completion.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable team player to work within our busy Sales & Marketing team. To be successful in the role you will have experience in a customer focused role and must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. New Home Sales Managers

The Role

The aim of the New Homes Sales Managers is to create a sense of delight in our customers as they discover the lifestyle that we can offer them through purchasing an apartment in one of our developments, and then proactively follow this through to sale completion.

You’ll be responsible for the entire sales cycle and this is a role which has clear sales and conversion targets. Initially you will need to achieve these through off-plan selling and home visits, and once the development is built you will also need to manage the sales office and processes.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with the warmth, energy and enthusiasm to be able to convert the leads generated by the marketing activity to apartment sales. Our customers are buying into a lifestyle, not just purchasing bricks and mortar, so you’ll be used to talking to people to understand their needs, pointing them in the direction of how our developments can exceed their expectations and positively influencing their decisions. Your excellent knowledge of the local area will be an important part of this, as will your analytical, decision making and problem solving skills. Expectations of our new homes sales managers are high and you’ll rely on your previous experience of selling new homes and achieving sales targets to help you meet them. You will also be familiar with off-plan selling, and able to use the technology that we will provide to support you in doing so.

The experience of our customers will be your focus, so you will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships using an energetic, positive and professional approach. You are also respectful when dealing with our partners and your colleagues. Our philosophy of improving, evolving and positively challenging the norm and ourselves will already be a part of your day to day life. Motivation is important and you’ll be able to work on your own initiative, but also contribute to the wider PegasusLife team.

Location, Salary & Benefits

OTE is £40k and we offer an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday. We are always looking for excellent people to work with us as we develop our newly acquired sites. Our Portfolio shows the sites we have under development and we would like to hear from you if you feel you have the skills and experience we require and wish to join a vibrant team at an exciting point in our growth plans. The roles will also involve attendance at our Winchester office on occasion (at least quarterly) to meet up with the rest of the team.
